• The announcement of a special discount for graduate students on membership to the Geochemical Society of Japan
We have prepared a special discount for the student membership of the Geochemical Society of Japan. Graduate students in their first two years of study and undergraduate students who are accepted to graduate schools next year are eligible. The discounted membership fee is 7,000 yen for two years instead of the regular student membership fee of 5,000 yen per year.
Membership in the Geochemical Society of Japan has many benefits, including free subscriptions of "Geochemical Journal" (6 issues/year) and "Chikyukagaku" (4 issues/year, in Japanese), discounted registration fees for the annual meeting of our society and the Goldschmidt Conference, discount on volumes of the "Geochemistry Series" (in Japanese), and eligibility to apply for the Torii Fund. All the benefits in student membership are the same as those in regular non-student membership.
We have many young active members in our society. By joining the society, graduate students will be able to interact with young researchers to expand their interest in their research and study. If you are an advisor of graduate students, I would appreciate it if you would encourage them to join the Geochemical Society of Japan and take advantage of this special discount.
